Hello chaps!
Guess who it is? Go on, guess! Oh alright then, I’ll tell you — it’s me, the Travelocity Roaming Gnome! I’m guest-posting on Gay Travelocity’s blog today. Hurrah! Can I get a round of applause? Anyone want to buy me a drink? Ooh, thank you, I’ll have a dirty martini. Maybe two.
So anyway, my dears, I wanted to pop in and remind you all that next weekend, June 27th and 28th, is Pride! Got your dancing shoes ready? All pumped up about the parades? I’ve got to say, I certainly am. I’m not sure whether New York or San Francisco has the more smashing celebration, but if I had my way, I’d go to both. Hmm, perhaps next year maybe I will. Nothing wrong with racking up the frequent flier miles, is there?
Make sure you get to a parade and celebrate if you can — who knows, you might even see me! Be sure to wave if you do. Maybe I’ll even let you stroke my beard.
Kisses for now!
The Travelocity Roaming Gnome
We wanted to update you all on what a wonderful weekend we all had at the recent Gay Days 2009 event held in Orlando recently in June. The weather was mood-setting, stormy and crazy, with lightning and thunder all around. As we all arrived at the event to get set up for the accompanying Gay DaysExpo, with this tumultuous weather, lo and behold the power went out. But turning lemons into lemonade, not only did we all have a great time hanging out poolside waiting for the power to come back on, but the folks putting on Gay Days (thanks Chris and Tommy) arranged for free hot dogs and burgers for everyone waiting. Suffice it to say, hanging out poolside with our friends from Bud Light was one of the highlights of the trip… one never knows where some of the best networking can be had!
